TITLE
Senior Associate Director Career Education
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for all student and alumni career advising counseling and consulting. This position will work with the Director to implement career development programs mentor staff and build relationships with employers and alumni to enhance student and alumni career outcomes. In concert with faculty key administrators Academic Advising the Pioneer Center for Student Excellence and other relevant entities the Senior Associate Director will create and implement a model for service delivery across the university. This will include specific deployment within the colleges the Career Connections Center and at all TWU campuses. This position both independently and collaboratively will oversee and/or directly develop innovative student programs seminars and/or workshops around relevant career topics. Programming will be delivered via multiple channels including face-to-face (classroom workshops/seminars larger events) on-line (webinars podcasts) social media and other platforms. This position is responsible for deployment of high-quality services that improve and increase student access to job related advisement (resume assistance networking and interviewing guidance etc.). This includes increasing the visibility and support of the program(s) enhancing existing services conducting research or benchmarking with institutions to identify best practices and developing and presenting career related topics to various audiences. The Senior Associate Director serves as a key liaison between the Career Connections Center and college administrators faculty students and other career related entities. Work is performed under general guidance and performance evaluation is based upon completion of assignments and results obtained. The performance evaluation is conducted through the performance evaluation system and in accordance with the University Policies & Procedures.

EDUCATION
Masters degree in Higher Education Business Administration Human Resources or related field required.
EXPERIENCE
5-8 years of higher-education or management experience. Certified Career Services Professional (CCSP) credential and experience working with college students preferred.
REQUIREMENT
Regular and reliable attendance at the University during regular scheduled days and work hours is an essential function of this position.
