Job Description
Who are we
The Aboriginal Social and Emotional Wellbeing Centre is a place of hope grounded in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander customs values spiritual connection to ancestral lands seas and waters and cultural knowledge. It offers a culturally safe and welcoming environment where Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people can access support for their mental health and social and emotional wellbeing. The Centre takes a holistic whole person approach that respects and includes traditional healing methods. Staff are culturally aware trauma-informed recovery-focused and provide warm non-judgemental and compassionate care.
Centre Implementation:
Our centre is set to officially commence service delivery October 2025.
We are now recruiting passionate enthusiastic staff who are not only committed to delivering accessible and culturally safe care but who are also excited by the unique opportunity to help shape something from the ground up.

We are seeking individuals who are eager to contribute to the implementation of new programs and services help refine processes and play an active role in creating a welcoming inclusive and impactful space for our community.
Recruitment Information:
Position Commencement: We are aiming to commence staff on the 1st of September 2025.
Location: While our permanent centre is being established in the CBD positions will be based at Sonder Marion and Sonder Port Adelaide.

- Tertiary Health Administration Qualification MBA or equivalent experience

- Relevant Marketing and Communication Qualifications and/or equivalent experience

- Certificate IV in Community Services Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drug or equivalent
- Full Time
Aboriginal Child and Family Consultant Port Adelaide
- Skills experience and knowledge working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Mental Health
