Your Responsibilities as a Program Manager:
- Actively source for new business opportunities.
- Prepare and deliver marketing presentations.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of environmental projects.
- Write and review technical reports and proposals.
- Hire and manage subcontractors.
- Mentor and train scientific staff and ensure quality work product.
- Ensure safe performance of project work.
- Actively develop your own career growth.

Job Requirements:
What were looking for:
- BA/BS in Environmental Science/Engineering or other related field. Masters degree is preferred.
- 12 to 14 years of solid technical experience including 5 years with significantseller/doer experience.
- Key focus will be developing and securing new business during the first 1-2 years of employment at Apex.
- Professional accreditation (PE or PG) including participation in a variety of professional associations networking events industry meetings and conferences.
- Experience with technical oversight project management and business development.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and established contacts with local agencies.
- Ability to mentor and train staff.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Excellent technical communication skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent safety record and understanding of safe work practices.
- Experience with Deltek Vision is highly desired.
