Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington.
With a track record of global leadership in bone marrow transplantation HIV/AIDS prevention immunotherapy and COVID-19 vaccines Fred Hutch has earned a reputation as one of the worlds leading cancer infectious disease and biomedical research centers. TRACER is a research initiative based at Fred Hutch Cancer Center focused on accelerating discoveries and treatment options for patients with rare and understudied cancers. We work closely with scientists clinicians patients and advocates to drive data-sharing drug repurposing and innovative functional screening efforts. Learn more:

We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to help grow our online presence engage the rare cancer community and highlight the exciting research and outreach activities of the TRACER program. This is an ideal opportunity for students interested in sciences communications public health digital media or nonprofit outreach.

This is a remote position that requires candidates to attend in person events.
