About the Portfolio
Our Arts and Society academic units deliver world-class teaching research and creative productions across three regions in lutruwita/Tasmania: South (Hobart) North (Launceston) and Cradle Coast (Burnie). These units are deeply embedded in the Tasmanian community and contribute significantly to the intellectual cultural and social fabric of the state.
The Opportunity
This position is a unique opportunity for an exceptional leader to lead and support the evolution of Arts and Society with a focus on world class teaching research creative productions and graduate outcomes. Leading this diverse yet mission-aligned collection of Academic Units and working in partnership with community industry and government this is pivotal role to help us realise our bold aspirations for the way in which the culture education health productivity and climate agenda of Tasmania can enhance the life of Tasmanians and of the world.
The role is an opportunity to work collaboratively and purposefully facilitate connection across academic units and contribute to whole of University strategic and executive decision making.
