About This Opportunity
We are eagerly seeking a Casual Simulation Technical Assistant to support our students and teaching staff during clinical skills sessions facilitated by the School of Nursing Midwifery and Social Work. Work hours will vary from week to week however we anticipate there may be approximately 14.5 hours of work per week.
Key responsibilities will include:
Assist with preparation restocking setup and pack up of clinical skills sessions for students.
Assist with stocktake of asset equipment and consumables.
Ensure all equipment is cleaned correctly as directed.
Assist with maintenance of equipment and reporting of defects to equipment used within the Clinical Simulation space.
Relocate equipment to and from different areas.
About You
Demonstrated computing skills i.e. Microsoft Office suite.
Flexibility to work on specific weekdays determined by timetable requirements.
Ability to rapidly gain knowledge of nursing and midwifery equipment and medical supplies.
Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise own workload follow direction work independently and well in a team to meet deadlines.
Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
Demonstrated interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
Experience working in a healthcare or education setting is desirable.
