Job Description
Aston Martin Lagonda is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our Gaydon site. This is a rotating three-shift roleweek of earlies week of lates and week of nightssupporting the day-to-day running and long-term reliability of our manufacturing operations.
Youll be part of a close-knit team driving the success of our production line while working autonomously when needed. Every day brings new challenges so youll need to be flexible quick to learn and ready to respond to unexpected faults or breakdowns. No two days are the same and thats exactly what makes it rewarding.
Were looking for someone with a strong electrical bias and solid experience in fault finding on manufacturing machineryfrom PLCs and motors to sensors gearboxes and pneumatics. Ideally youll have worked in the automotive industry and hold a City & Guilds qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. A time-served apprenticeship is essential along with working knowledge of LOLER PUWER ECPL and lean manufacturing practices.
Youll need to operate comfortably using a tablet as all work is logged digitally and be proficient with Microsoft Office tools. Being a confident communicator a strong team player and having the initiative to take ownership will make you an ideal fit.
