What youll do

As a Legal Administrator youll play a key role in supporting the team with a variety of essential administrative tasks.

In this role youll:

  • Assist with file and document management including opening maintaining and closing matters.
  • Coordinate diaries meetings and travel arrangements for fee earners.
  • Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence to a high professional standard.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and regulatory requirements including risk management procedures.
  • Handle incoming communications and liaise professionally with clients and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate records and support the team with general administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Contribute to business development activities including client research and event coordination where needed.

Youll bring:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role ideally within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to support others and grow within the role.
  • Ideally youll be based within commuting distance of Exeter and comfortable with regular office attendance.
