Job Description
- Supply Officer: Permanent full-time role.
- Flexibility to handle rotating shifts including on-call duties as well as weekends and evening shifts is essential for this role!
About the Role
In this position you will work in a team that is responsible for the efficient operation of the stores section of the Supply Department.
- You will receive stores and distribute medical and general stores throughout the hospital.
- You will be required to unload vehicles unpack cartons check stock and pick pack and deliver as directed to various departments in the hospital. All quickly and with a high degree of accuracy.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for a number of key departments/wards in regard to ensuring adequate stock is available and maintained.
- This is a hands on demanding & responsible position.
Working hours are usually Monday-Friday flexibility of start & finish times is important.
About You
Essential Criteria:
- Experience working in a warehouse/stores including using computerised stock control system.
- Proven ability to be highly accurate in a busy stores environment
- A positive can do attitude with ability to take responsibility.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated good organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours.
- Proven ability to liaise negotiate and problem solve with various stakeholders.
Desirable Criteria:
- Previous experience in a medical/hospital environment
- Forklift qualification
- Qualification in Purchasing or SAP.
Remuneration:On offer is base hourly rate ranging from $30.49 superannuation based on experience level and qualifications exclusive of penalties or allowances.
