Job Description

  • Employment Term: Full-time (76 hours per fortnight) Maximum term three-month contract

  • Location: Rockhampton

  • Remuneration: $49.28 p/hr Super NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)

Your part in our UnitingCare team

  • Establish first contact withthe family according to the priority and risk assessment level

  • Contactmay include telephone a letter or a cold call home visit if contact byphone/letter has not been effective or if priority contact is required

  • Undertake initialassessments with the family in the home or in an agreed locationestablishing need and the required level of support and assistance

What makes a difference for us

  • Bachelor of Human Services or less formal qualifications with considerable relevant skills and extensive and diverse relevant experience to an equivalent standard

  • Genuine passion for helping people who are vulnerable with previous experience working with children and families who are at risk of or engaged under the child protection act

  • Working with Children blue card

  • Drivers licence
