This is a temporary or on-call position. Obtains medical histories orders diagnostic tests performs physical exams and recommends or renders treatment in order to provide medical care for University students.
The General Internist position will have a major role in outpatient and inpatient clinical services along with precepting residents at partner hospitals. The GIM division represents one of the largest clinical units within the College of Human Medicine. We excel in delivering high-quality culturally sensitive patient-centered and comprehensive primary and preventive healthcare.
Physicians must possess a Michigan Medical license Board of Pharmacy and DEA licenses and must be board-certified in Internal Medicine and board-certified/eligible in Internal Medicine. Board-eligible candidates are expected to obtain board certification in internal medicine within one year of the hire date.
