Job Description
Position Overview:
An established IT services organization is seeking a skilled AWS Cloud & Data Platform Administrator with a strong background in system administration cloud infrastructure and data pipeline management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with AWS cloud environments and a working knowledge of Dataiku administration Kubernetes and Linux systems. This is a hands-on technical role with opportunities to work on performance optimization security and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
System Administration & DevOps
Manage user authentication access controls and system security
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Apply upgrades patches and performance enhancements across environments
Cloud Infrastructure & Automation
Administer and optimize AWS cloud environments
Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications
Automate infrastructure and processes using AWS and Dataiku APIs
Data Platform & Pipeline Management
Configure and manage connections between Dataiku and data storage systems (S3 Box databases)
Set up and maintain data storage and processing engines
Implement data governance and compliance measures within Dataiku
Platform Administration
Administer Dataiku platform in a Linux-based AWS environment
Ensure secure scalable and reliable infrastructure to support data workflows
Collaborate with engineering and DevOps teams on integration and automation initiatives
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
Minimum 7 years of experience in AWS Cloud Computing and System Administration
Proficiency in:
AWS services and architecture
Kubernetes and containerization tools
Linux system administration (especially in cloud environments)
Dataiku platform management and APIs
Automation using scripting or DevOps tools
Strong understanding of performance monitoring security and system optimization
Experience with configuring data storage and setting up secure data pipelines
Required Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Minimum 7 years of experience in AWS Cloud Computing and System Administration Proficiency in: AWS services and architecture Kubernetes and containerization tools Linux system administration (especially in cloud environments) Dataiku platform management and APIs Automation using scripting or DevOps tools Strong understanding of performance monitoring, security, and system optimization Experience with configuring data storage and setting up secure data pipelines
