Job Description
Come be the leader we are looking for at Warm Hearth! Were looking for a driven and detail-oriented RN to be the clinical leader at the Kroontje Health Care Center in the skilled nursing facility. Under the guidance of the units Administrator the Director of Nursing (DON) will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Cove and will be charged with ensuring that the residents receive compassionate and person-centered care.
Managerial experience in a healthcare setting is a must as is the ability to effectively collaborate across departments. Deep knowledge of state and federal LTC regulations and a dedication to motivating and mentoring staff are also essential. Experience in auditing a keen attention to detail and dedication to developing effective processes will be central to the DONs success.
Salary is competitive and commiserate with also have a robust benefits package. FT employees earn four weeks of PTO per year and have access to 5 days (40 hours) of PTO upon hire. Requirements:
- A valid RN license in good standing from the Virginia State Board of Nursing.
- Thorough knowledge of state and federal SNF regulations.
- At least three years of experience as a Director of Nursing or another nurse leadership role.
- previous experience in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required.
