Job Overview
We are looking for a mid-level BA Functional Consultant specializing in ServiceNow ITOM The position is full-time and based in Bangalore Urban. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience and skills in ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping and ServiceNow Integration Hub. This role requires a proactive individual ready to contribute to our team and support IT operations and services.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and Service Mapping and ServiceNow Integration Hub (Mandatory skill) ensuring seamless integration and management of IT operations.
- Strong knowledge in Event Management to effectively monitor manage and report IT events across the infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Cloud Management understanding how to leverage cloud resources to optimize IT services and infrastructure.
- Advanced scripting skills particularly in JavaScript and GlideScript to customize and extend ServiceNow solutions.
- Experience with Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to maintain accurate asset and service information.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices to streamline IT service management processes ensuring alignment with industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a detail-oriented approach to analyze complex situations and devise effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams to align ITOM solutions with business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead and implement ServiceNow ITOM modules including Discovery and Service Mapping to enhance IT service efficiency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into functional requirements and solutions.
- Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using scripting and toolkits to meet business and IT requirements.
- Maintain and optimize the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external applications using the ServiceNow Integration Hub and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams facilitating technical improvements and process automation.
- Develop and deliver training or information sessions to end-users and stakeholders on using ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Continuously analyze IT processes recommending areas for improvements and implementing necessary changes.
