The full-time starting salary is normally 44131.00 per annum with progression available in post to 51182.00 per annum. This role also carries a 5% market supplement.

Our HR Department is looking to recruit an experienced professional for the role of Senior HR Systems Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the management maintenance and optimisation of key HR systems including Core HR Payroll Absence Management and Learning and Development modules.

Reporting to the HR Systems and Reporting Manager you will provide daily support to the Human Resources team and employees in the wider University as well as assisting with project-based activity.
This will include providing hands-on support in the following areas:
You will have a degree in IT or a related field or equivalent relevant experience with previous experience of maintaining and/or configuring Oracle Fusion HCM. You will demonstrate effective communication skills and a knowledge of data collection strategies and methods within an HR environment. You will possess the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and effectively apply learning in real-world situations. You will also be an organised and collaborative individual able to work effectively both within a team and independently using your initiative and creativity to solve problems.

The appointed candidate will normally be employed through our subsidiary company BCU Support Services Limited a wholly owned subsidiary of Birmingham City University. Appointees with prior LGPS membership who wish to enter the LGPS scheme will be able to do so and will be employed by Birmingham City University directly.
