Were looking for a proactive and organised individual to join Cornwall Councils Inclusion and SEND Service as a SEND Data Assistant. In this part-time role youll support the collection validation and analysis of data that informs strategic planning and service delivery for children and young people with SEND across Cornwall.
Youll work closely with the SEND Performance & Intelligence Officer and wider teams to ensure data is accurate accessible and used effectively to support decision-making and continuous improvement.

About the Team:
Youll be joining a forward-thinking collaborative team that values innovation partnership and continuous improvement. We work closely with families education providers health services and national partners to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and young people with SEND.
The Role:
This is a key support role within Cornwall Councils Inclusion and SEND Service. As SEND Data Assistant you will assist in the collection cleansing and validation of data helping to ensure that the departments information is accurate up-to-date and ready for use in strategic planning performance monitoring and statutory reporting.
Youll also support the administration of key processes including SENIF and contribute to inspection readiness by maintaining high standards of data quality. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail good IT skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and partners.
This is a public/customer-facing role where the statutory English language requirement for public sector workers applies.
This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.
Working Pattern:
0.5 FTE (18.5 hrs between Monday - Friday). Specific days to be negotiated.
