Job Title: Practice Accountant
Location: Keighley
Salary: Up to 50000 (DOE)
Type: Full-time Permanent
A well-established and growing Accountancy Practice in Keighley is looking to appoint a Practice Accountant as part of its next phase of growth.
Youll be stepping into a hands-on role managing a varied client portfolio and supporting the leadership team on wider operational matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review year-end accounts for limited companies sole traders and partnerships
Produce management accounts and provide performance insight to clients
Support clients with bookkeeping VAT and software (e.g. Xero QuickBooks)
Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted point of contact
Oversee junior team members and support their development
Identify opportunities for adding value and improving client processes
Stay informed on regulatory and tax changes relevant to SME clients
What Were Looking For:
Strong experience in an Accountancy Practice setting
Comfortable managing a range of client needs end-to-end
Confident with accounting software and cloud-based systems
Able to build rapport with clients and work as part of a close-knit team
ACA / ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
