La Section de droit civil veut recruter des professeurs temps partiel qui sont des leaders dans la profession juridique. Pour ce cours un LL.B un J.D ou son quivalent est ncessaire. La personne choisie doit aussi avoir une exprience significative en lien avec le droit psychiatrique. Le fait davoir enseign un cours dans ce domaine auparavant est un atout.

Requirements:

La psychiatrie comme outil de contrle social; le dveloppement historique du droit psychiatrique; la sur-institutionnalisation et la
dsinstitutionalisation; quelques pratiques hospitalires
actuelles comme les mesures de contrle (isolement
contentions substances chimiques) et les lectrochocs. Le droit
civil : la garde en tablissement et lautorisation de soins. Le
droit criminel : la non-responsabilit pour cause de trouble
mentaux; lincapacit subir son procs; lautomatisme;
linfanticide. La Commission dexamen et les tribunaux
spcialiss.
