The following job description details the scope of responsibility and specific areas of responsibility regarding the Bartender position. The Food and Beverage Manager has the authority to add to take from or otherwise change the scope of responsibilities as necessary to properly manage the day-to-day operation of the Big Canoe Property Owners Association (POA). This position requires a professional appearance of a clean and pressed uniform excellent hygiene and grooming is necessary. Bartenders are required to maintain a positive attitude at all times. Must have the desire to provide consistent great customer service for all Big Canoe residents and guests. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Maintains a high level of bar top service service well execution and food service through al a carte dining banquets and scheduled POA events. A thorough knowledge of the food menu wine spirits and beer offerings cocktail menu.
- Assist management in month end inventories.
- Stock bar shelves and refrigerators.
- Maintain a clean and well organized bar area.
- Greet all arriving bar guests with a great smile and warm welcome.
- Handle credit card POA card and cash transactions efficiently and accurately
- Be responsible for ensuring an assigned $200.00 drawer is returned to the MOD at the end of every shift at $200.00.
- Be able to identify intoxicated guests and inform the MOD about the intoxicated guest.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen test. Must be authorized to work in the US.
