Responsible for carrying out QA/QC works during preparation execution and re-commissioning of assigned Area TA equipments in accordance with HSE Quality and schedule. He will be focal person for QA/QC activities for that Area.
Responsibilities:
Scope/Job package preparation/review and Field Verification.
Prepare/review/co-ordinate for preparation of Inspection Test plan Activity Wall charts Hydro Test Package etc. and getting approval from necessary departments.
Incoming Material Inspection - Physical verification/confirmation as per scope/job requirement MTC availability Witness Material size/dimension/marking/certification etc.
conduct all required tests in accordance with contract documents and to prepare fill in & sign all reports & forms as necessary for the compliance with Client Quality Standards.
Carrying out preliminary inspection of materials of construction & reviewing the material certificate. Verification of Isometric drawing with respect to general arrangement Piping & Instrumentation drawing and welding data are as per latest Isometric Drawing.
Ensuring the weld joints supports were welded and correct piping materials being used.
Inspecting the weld fit-up of joints prior to root pass & visual inspection of final weld conducting D.P test on welding joints.
To check all repairs are perform correctly & non-destructive tests are regularly repeated.
To keep a report file for all non-destructive tests.
Knowledge of advanced technique like ECT and RFET.
Confirmation of materials & Welding consumables with drawing and codes.
Qualification of Welders.
Stage wise inspection of welding. (Fit up root pass visual & NDT Final welds Visual & NDT).
Radiographic Interpretation Review and Signing of NDT & Release Inspection Reports further activities.
Flange integrity inspection.
Reviewing the certificates of water quality calibration of pressure gauge Pressure relief valve and chart recorders before starts and witnessing of Hydrostatic Pressure/Pneumatic test and ensuring Re-instatements of Piping Systems.
Preparation of QA/QC Dossier.
Review/co-ordinate for Method Statement/ITP approval based on requirement/SOW.
Co-ordinate for MOC/Engineering quality document review & approval for implementation.
Co-ordination for updating daily progress reports and narration sheet.
The preparation of the companies QA manual control and supervision of all amendments and revisions
Control and the distribution of all the companys quality documentation.
Monitor all quality related activities on the project.
Perform all internal and external audits on behalf of the companys management.
Verify sub-contractor quality requirements are specified to vendors and contractor documentation submittals.
Attend client quality management meetings.
The preparation and control of project quality system management documentation prior to project commencement.
Review quality inspection personnel qualifications and training requirements.
Monitor the disposition of all issued nonconformance reports.
Monitor the progress and effectiveness of the project quality management system. Recommend and implement improvements when required.
Coordinate all QA/QC activities with the site QC manager.
Control all achieve documentation upon the completion of the project.
Co-ordination with execution team for PSSR and punch list clearance activities.
Should be proficient in ASME/ANSI/ASTMetc. and all relevant quality standards.
Should have relevant API/ CSWIP certification.
Should be very good in English communication skills.
Should be well versed in CMMS Microsoft office . etc.
Bachelors degree/Diploma in engineering with 8-12 years experience in Turnaround maintenance in Refinery/petrochemical industry.
