Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer In Test Automation at a mid-level position. This is a full-time contract-to-hire role based in Gurgaon Delhi or Noida. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in test automation with expertise in handling tools and frameworks efficiently to enhance software quality and reliability.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Selenium ensuring the ability to automate browser-based testing efficiently (Mandatory skill).
- Strong command of Java to develop test scripts and integrate with testing frameworks (Mandatory skill).
- Experience with Cucumber for Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to ensure clear communication among teams (Mandatory skill).
- Working knowledge of Python to leverage scripting capabilities for diverse testing needs.
- Familiarity with JIRA for bug tracking and project management facilitating smooth communication and task management.
- Experience using TestNG framework for executing multiple test cases and generating reports effectively.
- Competence in Jenkins to automate and manage continuous testing processes ensuring timely feedback on quality.
- Hands-on experience with API Testing to validate the functionality and reliability of web services and APIs.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure software quality across various platforms.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and create robust test plans.
- Utilize Selenium Java and Cucumber to create and manage automated test suites effectively.
- Employ Python and other tools to broaden the scope of test automation and increase test coverage.
- Monitor and analyze test outcomes providing timely feedback to development teams for continuous improvement.
- Identify document and track software defects using JIRA coordinating with teams for resolution.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices using Jenkins to streamline testing processes.
- Ensure adequate test environments and manage test data required for comprehensive test coverage.
