I am recruiting for a Mechanical Assembly Technician to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Bridlington. This is a permanent full-time position offering excellent job security a supportive team environment and modern working conditions.
What youll be doing as a Mechanical Assembly Technician:
Assembling full mechanical modules and sub-assemblies to specification
Building machinery and equipment using hand tools power tools and pneumatic tools
Working from engineering drawings and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Fitting components to tight tolerances with a focus on quality and accuracy
Stripping down and reassembling units as part of build and testing processes
Supporting production output and maintaining a clean organised work area
Following all health and safety procedures in a modern well-equipped facility
What Im looking for in a Mechanical Assembly Technician:
Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembly Technician Mechanical Fitter or skilledAssembly Operative
Able to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
- Work ably with all hand and power tools
Methodical reliable and detail-focused with a hands-on attitude
NVQ Level 3 or similar qualification preferred or equivalent hands-on experience
A friendly team-oriented approach and willingness to learn
Pay & Benefits for Mechanical Assembly Technicians:
Competitive hourly rate depending on experience
39 hours per week Monday to Friday
Early finish at 1pm on Fridays
33 days holiday (including bank holidays and Christmas shut-down)
