The Role
Due to significant growth MCA Engineering is looking for a Workshop Supervisor / Leading Hand Boilermaker with 3-5 years experience in a similar role. The ideal applicant will demonstrate experience supervising a crew of trades people and apprentices. In this role you will need to have a passion for the industry and the ability to drive and motivate people in a positive manner.
Responsibilities:
- Supervising and leading a team of trades and apprentices in a workshop environment
- Daily reporting and documentation
- Overseeing and reviewing quality of work
- WHS Proven ability to always adhere to safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- A strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail
- A commitment to quality and pride in your work
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Forklift license and confined space ticket Would be an advantage

About you:
- Cert III Trade Fabrication at a minimum
- White Card
- Forklift licence
- Experience as a Supervisor / Leading Hand within a mining company would be viewed favourably
- Positive attitude
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol testing.
