Responsibilities

Your Role:

As a Senior Production Planner you will be responsible for providing the daily production schedules for the manufacturing processes in our 2 facilities so that wecan meet our customers needs and requirements.

You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!

  • Developing a production plan that maximizes line productivity service levels and inventory optimization.
  • Planning scheduling and coordinating production for the manufacturing lines of 2 plants based on daily MRP & sales demand information.
  • Review any changes/additions/deletions for customer orders as well as determine component requirements.
  • Evaluate raw materials and equipment to ensure everything is in place for production.
  • Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines in a Business to Business operating environment.
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across product lines.
  • Report on the production status and any production issues to upper management as well as updates to the Business Sales & Logistics Teams.
  • Troubleshoot and fix problems related to Shop Order accuracy and production reporting issues.

Qualifications

We need you to have:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 years of related professional and progressive experience in production planning in an operations facility environment.
  • Certification in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or commensurate experience.
  • Certification in Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or commensurate experience.
  • Proficient in SAP.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Knowledge of production processes and quality control.
  • Technical skills using material requirements planning and scheduling software.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with all levels of employees.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Deadline driven.

Icing on the cake:

  • 2 - 4 year degree in business related field.
