Job Description
Job Title: Physical Therapist (PT)
Location: Atlantis FL
Schedule: 3x12 Days (No Weekends) 7:00am to 7:00pm
Hourly Rate: $36.53 - $53.20/hr (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Case-by-case basis
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join a leading acute care facility known for its excellence in cardiovascular orthopedic cancer and stroke care. In this role you will deliver high-quality patient-centered therapy services helping patients regain functional independence across the continuum of care. The ideal candidate has strong acute care experience and thrives in a collaborative clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.
- Deliver therapeutic interventions based on clinical goals patient engagement and evidence-based practice.
- Monitor and document patient progress; adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercises equipment and safety techniques.
- Manage daily caseload prioritize therapy sessions and assist in staff coordination and patient handoffs.
Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Florida (required)
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
- BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience required
