Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Ridley Park PA; Hazelwood MO; Mesa AZ; or Tukwila WA.
Position Responsibilities:
Integrates program customer product and in-service strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
Conducts risk issues and opportunities management
Manages supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3 years experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
3 years experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelors degree or higher
3 years experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)
3 years experience negotiating non-competitive government procurements that exceed the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) threshold
3 years experience drafting negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
3 years experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
Work Location:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Travel:
Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
