NegotiableGeneral Description/Primary Purpose:
The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences is seeking a 9-month non-tenure earning Visiting Instructor of Psychology. This position will report to the Chair of the Psychological and Brain Sciences Department. Position responsibilities include a 4/4 teaching load (or its equivalent) with some service expectations.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Psychology although strong ABD and Masters candidates will be considered. We are seeking candidates who have a strong interest and ability in teaching undergraduate courses such as introduction to psychology research methods and upper division courses based upon the candidates expertise. This position will be a 1-year appointment with a 9-month contract.
Anticipated Start Date: The position is expected to begin on August 4 2025.
Working Hours: Varies.
Supervision Exercised: This is not a supervisory role.
