Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and radiographic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Operate and maintain CT scanning equipment and imaging systems.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure accurate timely diagnostic results.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT (R) registered or registry eligible.
- Must hold a valid Iowa Permit to Practice Radiologic Technology.
- BCLS certification is required upon hire.
- CT certification (ARRT-CT) preferred or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
