Job Summary
As an Innovation Engineer you will be at the forefront of developing new valuable product concepts based on customer needs. Youll lead ideation sessions explore emerging technologies and collaborate across functions to bring innovative solutions to life.
The focus will be on Transport Dewatering and Treatment systems using Flygt products. You will build prototypes and deploy pilot solutions to demonstrate whats possible gain solid customer feedback and reduce risk in the development of new solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Generate innovative product concepts aligned with customer needs
Lead and participate in ideation sessions and innovation workshops
Drive transparency and progress using Jira
Research and apply new technologies to differentiate our products
Integrate cutting-edge digital solutions to enhance operational efficiency and reliability
Build prototypes and deploy pilots to validate concepts and gather customer insights
Execute and document engineering tasks including calculations and testing
Engage with customers to uncover both spoken and unspoken customer needs
Lead continuous improvement initiatives within your area of expertise

Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Solid knowledge of mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes
Proficiency in CAD tools (preferably Creo)
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken)
Fluent in Swedish
Preferred:
Familiarity with technologies in the Public Utility sector
