Job Title: Production Manager uPVC & Aluminium Windows and Doors
Location: Near Chelmsford Essex (Rural Setting)
Job Type: Full-Time Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM 4:30 PM
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and hands-on Production Manager to lead
operations at a busy window and door manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for someone with a strong
background in the uPVC and aluminium industry who is looking to grow and make a lasting impact
within a supportive team environment.
As Production Manager you will take full ownership of the day-to-day activities on the shop floor
ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards operations run efficiently and health and
safety protocols are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily running of the production facility
Monitor and improve productivity and efficiency levels
Maintain the highest standards of product quality
Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed
Manage vehicle loading and ensure on-time in-full (OTIF) deliveries
Recruit train and manage production staff
Drive continuous improvement and team development
What Were Looking For
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:
A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the uPVC industry
Strong leadership and organisational skills
A proactive and motivated approach to problem-solving
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
A full UK driving licence
A positive can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Reliability punctuality and the ability to work independently when needed
