What youll be doing:
Delivering Health & Safety orientation and ongoing training for all team members.
Supporting Health & Safety Ambassadors across all Goodwill sites.
Providing guidance to leaders on OH&S compliance and WCB claim processes.
Conducting workplace inspections hazard assessments and investigations.
Ensuring all Safe Work Procedures and SOPs are current and site-specific.
Monitoring safety program adherence and following up on incident reports.
Coordinating and responding to serious workplace incidents with training and support.
Researching and recommending best practices for workplace safety improvements.
Supporting wellness and work-life integration initiatives.
Completing reports and maintaining documentation related to OH&S compliance.
What you bring to the table:
A completed OH&S Certificate or Diploma and 3 years of related experience.
At least 2 years of experience in disability management and WCB processes.
Solid understanding of OH&S and WCB legislation and incident response practices.
Strong organizational communication and coaching skills.
Experience with investigations hazard analysis and safe work procedure development.
High attention to detail and a proactive team-oriented mindset.
Class 5 Drivers License and willingness to travel occasionally within Alberta.
A passion for creating a safe healthy and inclusive workplace for all team members.
