Job Description:
Workplace Safety & Health Coordinators daily operation includesensuringthat the executing the companys safety regulations aand practices in the work area and sites. This role enforces all safety legistlation and in-house safety rules and Coordinators are responsible for planning implementing and overseeing companys employee safety at work. Their main duty is to ensure that the company is in complience and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines to to reduce work-related injuries.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement Safety Procedures
- Conduct weekly inspection with subcontractors supervisors
- Ensure machinery and equipment at site are in good working condition and having all necessary good working certificates
- Conduct weekly safety talk/briefing
- Ensure proper housekeeping
- Recommend practable measures to protect employees from potentially hazardous work methods processes or materials
- Investigate accidents to identify causes or to determine how such incidents might be prevented
- Liaise and follow up with relevant stakeholders on WSH matters
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a safety coordinator or similar role
- Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health or Advance Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health
- Execellent team player good interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude
- Able to multi-task in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Familiar with risk management procedures and conduction of safety briefing
