Position Purpose
To a) be a passionate brightearted host and highly collaborative member of the guest operations team and b) maximise customer spend whilst delivering exceptional brand-specific experiences mainly in F&B but also in other areas of the hotel.
Duties & Key Responsibilities

Communicate clearly and constructively with other team members to help deliver great guest experiences in all areas of your hotel.
Be a role model for others by demonstrating passionate friendly brand-specific guest service at all times
Always deliver fair share in team tasks and support colleagues whose workload may temporarily be heavy this includes helping out in stewarding housekeeping and FO
Provide constructive suggestions/feedback to your Line Manager on products processes and procedures to contribute to our continuous improvement efforts
Be aware of planned team meetings and learning sessions and attend as required
Show interest in learning something new every day.
Participate positively in pre and post shift briefs and hotel team huddles and apply learning the next day
Volunteer to participate in company campaigns like Travel with Purpose or TM committees
Execute duties as assigned by the Hotel Leadership team
Be open to acquiring new knowledge and skills in areas such as kitchen HSK or FO to be able to provide support to these departments where required and at the same time improve chances of a faster career progression
F&B Specifics
Organise your assigned work area to be able to deliver the pre-service and service tasks effectively & efficiently in line with our quality and service standards
Constantly maintain your work area clean and tidy
Take time to be a great host engage in small conversations actively ask guests you are serving for their feedback. Immediately take actions to make it right where required
Constantly look for areas of improvement when taking orders and delivering food to guests to further improve guest experience in all our F&B outlets
Understand the specifications of the dishes we sell their price and the processes designed to present them to our customer in our F&B outlets
Actively upsell our products and provide advice to guests on food recommendations and beverage pairing
After 6 months being in the role decide whether the scope of your role should be extended to Front Office duties & responsibilities. If the decision is pro extending the scope of the role participate in all respective trainings and complete all assigned e-learning courses within the set deadlines
