Job Description

How you will help

As the Manager of Technical Solutions you will lead and mentor a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers who bridge the gap between customer needs and HealthVeritys technical capabilities. You will define and optimize how the team conceptualizes and communicates solutions to complex business problems using HealthVeritys platform data and tools. Your role is crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of creative scalable and technically feasible solutions that lead to long-term customer value and strategic growth.

Youll collaborate with Sales Product Engineering Data Science Privacy and Marketing to align on best practices remove friction in the sales cycle and drive consistent improvement across the customer journey. Your leadership will cultivate a safe empowering environment where Solutions Engineers are inspired to grow and consistently exceed performance expectations.

What you will do

  • Scope solutions to fit within a customers budget and timeline

  • Support clients with internal decisions regarding their technology stack and configuration for the use of HealthVerity products

  • Lead and expand a team of Solutions Engineers responsible for technical discovery product education and solution design across HealthVeritys offerings.

  • Partner closely with Sales leadership to align team capacity with pipeline activity and ensure pre-sales engagements are efficient and effective.

  • Drive ownership of the technical sales process including scope definition requirements gathering and design of solutions aligned to client timelines budgets and business needs.

  • Guide the development of solution diagrams technical documentation and reusable assets (reference architectures solution briefs workflow templates).

  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate the feasibility of bespoke client requests and inform product roadmap priorities.

  • Lead strategic efforts to optimize how the team engages with regulated industries (e.g. HIPAA Life Sciences Government) and large-scale datasets.

  • Maintain and enhance a repository of common technical patterns and client-specific configurations.

  • Identify opportunities for process automation and develop best practices to streamline and accelerate sales cycles.

  • Coach team members in technical storytelling stakeholder management and long-term client success planning.

  • Technical Depth & Agility: You and your team become trusted technical partners to prospects and internal teams alike offering scalable and innovative solutions across a variety of technical stacks and domains.

Required skills and experience

  • 7 years of experience in technical pre-sales solutions architecture or engineering roles preferably in B2B SaaS.

  • 5 years of experience managing or mentoring high-performing technical teams.

  • Extensive experience engaging with external clients and internal cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Expertise in data workflows APIs and modern software architecture (web apps microservices data pipelines).

  • Familiarity with tools like Lucidchart JIRA Salesforce and Confluence.

  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS preferred) SQL Python ETL processes and Airflow.

  • Exposure to the healthcare industry or other regulated data environments (HIPAA GxP etc.)

Base salary for the role is commensurate with experience and can range between $120000 - 155000 annual bonus opportunity.

Hiring Locations

Our main office is located in Center City Philadelphia where we operate on a hybrid model with in-office work required three days a week for local employees. We believe collaboration is most effective when teams come together which is why we prioritize hiring in the Philadelphia area.

For certain roles we also hire from hub locationsregions where we have an established presence with multiple team members working remotely. While these employees primarily work from home we bring them together in person at lease once a year for team-building collaboration and strategic planning.

Due to tax and labor regulations we can only hire from specific states. Remote work is supported in the following key hub locations and approved states:
