Job Overview
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) is responsible for driving sales growth managing a team of sales representatives and ensuring the achievement of business objectives within the assigned territory. The ASM will develop and implement sales strategies establish strong customer relationships and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth business operations.
Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve revenue targets in the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base.
- Manage mentor and guide the sales team to deliver results.
- Hire and train Relationship Managers to strengthen the sales force.
- Ensure daily card logins and follow-ups for business efficiency.
- Take regular meetings and track team performance.
- Monitor market trends and provide insights to improve sales strategies.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service.
- Ensure that sales targets are met/exceeded by ensuring that the Sales function operates efficiently and is focussed on winning new business and retaining existing clients.
- Generate and convert leads for corporate business.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in Insurance healthcare customer service or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in healthcare insurance fintech or medical services.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends holidays and peak sale periods.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Prior experience in selling health cards insurance OPD services or hospital tie-ups.
- Understanding of the healthcare ecosystem and provider network.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced target-driven environment.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolution of queries.
- Work closely with customer support teams to enhance client satisfaction
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
- Number of new client acquisitions and partnerships.
- Performance and productivity of the sales team.
- Customer retention and satisfaction levels.
- Timely execution of sales strategies and initiatives.
