Sarnia Transit is responsible for providing safe reliable and affordable conventional transit and specialized transit services within the City. The Transit Inspectors play a key role in this service and are responsible for planning assigning scheduling and supervising the standard of service provided for conventional and care-a-van transit.
Under the direction of the Manager Transit the Inspector will monitor services; respond to emergencies customer concerns and service inquiries; conduct incident and accident investigations; complete reports; maintain records; and efficiently liaise with various response personnel. This position will also monitor operational trends ridership patterns and routing requirements.
