Epic is currently seeking a talented Principal Water Quality Specialist (marine and freshwater) to join our Brisbane office. This is a fantastic opportunity for a market-facing consultant who is looking to elevate their career to the next level.

As a Principal Water Quality Specialist you will leverage your industry-leading profile and reputation to complement Epics established standing in the environmental sector. You will play a pivotal role in attracting and mentoring like-minded professionals building and developing an industry-leading water services team.

Youll work on high-impact projects across our diverse client base while also having the opportunity to shape the direction of water services within the company.


What youll bring

  • Tertiary qualifications from a recognised institution in an environmental science related discipline or similar relevant degree

  • Ability to build relationships manage projects and contribute to business development activities

  • Strong experience and understanding of marine and aquatic environments including water and sediment quality sampling techniques data collection and interpretation

  • Experience with the maintenance and deployment of real-time telemetered monitoring equipment

  • Strong understanding of the statutory frameworks policies and science-based approaches that govern water management
