Job Description
We are a busy emergency service which employs multiple doctors and a committed team of strong technicians including a dedicated ICU team to care for hospitalized patients 24 hours/day. There is a strong sense of case sharing and communication between our services which is facilitated by twice daily rounds. Quality of life outside of the practice is something we strongly support. For this reason the majority of our ER vets work a combination of daytime and overnight shifts never more than 4 shifts in a row with large blocks of time off. This position will allow you to live out the benefits of generous compensation that will exceed that of most general practice jobs with more time off to enjoy life.
To help our DVMs practice only the highest quality of veterinary medicine we have on-site/easy access to:
- Snyder Intensive Care Units
- In-house laboratory (Heska IDEXX e-POC coagulation)
- SurgiVet Multi-Parameter monitoring systems
- 3 Toshiba high-resolution ultrasound machines including ER FAST scan
- 24-hour care & hospitalization
- Digital radiograph
- New 128-slice CT Scanner
- State of the art facilities
- Endoscopy including fiber otic & bronchoscopy
- CUBEX Inventory Management System
