Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup maintenance and troubleshooting of desktops laptops printers and other hardware.
- Support basic software installations updates and user configurations.
- Prepare and manage shipments of IT equipment and supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of IT assets licenses and user documentation.
- Scan and digitize technical documents for easy access and storage.
- Monitor office technology supplies and coordinate restocking and orders.
- Help manage ticketing systems and track the progress of user support requests.
- Organize and file IT-related documentation including user manuals and system reports.
- Serve as a backup for handling help desk calls and escalating issues appropriately.
- Ensure secure handling and disposal of sensitive data and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in IT or related field preferred)
- 2 years of experience in an administrative or IT support role
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to follow technical instructions and troubleshooting steps
- Basic understanding of IT terminology and concepts
Salary Description
$18 hr - $20hr
