The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking an Early Childhood Group Leader Assistant-PRN. This positionprovides attendant care services to clients participating in the Centers Early Childhood program. Evenings are required 1 days per week after 5 PM.

Flexible Schedules
Base hourly rate of $19.69 to $22.10 per hour depending upon qualifications
Responsibilities
1. Assist with promoting successful group interactions among consumers
2. Encourage and support clients engagement in ECPP activities
3. Encourage and support clients efforts to effectively problem-solve and interact with others
4. Work respectfully and supportively with clients parents/caregivers while observing appropriate boundaries
5. Transport clients to and from activities or appointments when necessary or assigned and serve as Attendant on van transportation routes as assigned
6. Facilitate/co-facilitate groups as assigned
7. Understand direct service requirements and efficiency goals established by TGC for the position and achieve same
8. Provide documentation (clinical notes reports and other professional products) which complies with TGCs Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources.
9. Be able to organize work to meet direct service expectations and Center requirements
EDUCATION:
High school graduate or GED required. Must have completed one year of college course work in the field of human services or have one year of experience in the field of human services or one year combination of education and work experience in the field of human services
EXPERIENCE:
Required: at least 6 months experience working with individuals in the community. Experience gained through practicum experience or volunteer work can be included.
Preferred: experience working with individuals with mental health issues.
