Job Description
10:30am-7:00pm schedule.
POSITION GOAL: This position is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness safety security functionality and aesthetics of the KID campus through the performance of routine safety preventative and requested janitorial services. This position is responsible to ensure KID meets or exceeds all applicable standards from any regulating entities that include but are not limited to; the Broward County Health Department Child Net and COA. This position reports to the Director of Operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:

- POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Education and/or experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred and experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred; or an equivalent combination of education training and work experience.
- Certificates Licenses Registrations:
None required.
- Language Skills:
Must have the ability to read write and effectively communicate in English.
- Skills/Abilities:
Must be able to frequently lift and/or carry equipment and items that may weigh up to 50 lbs. and must have the ability to work within a team.
- Physical Demands and Working Environment:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. This position requires a moderate amount of sitting walking and the frequent use of hands and arms. Talking and listening will be a major component. Occasionally light lifting will be required. The ability to visually focus with the eyes for close range and be able to distinguish colors is required. Additionally the work environment is a typical climate controlled office environment and the noise is usually moderate but occasional situations louder noise will be prevalent.
