Job Description
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Develop Agency-level cybersecurity policy and related documentation in alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and industry standards.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders including IT legal compliance and governance to ensure policy effectiveness and adoption.
- Provide expert guidance and interpretation of cybersecurity policies and regulations.
- Serve as the Cybersecurity Departments contractor representative for Agency-level policy documentation concerning cybersecurity policy initiatives.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity threats vulnerabilities and best practices.
- Support audits and compliance assessments related to cybersecurity policies and controls.
- Develop Agency-wide communications on emerging cybersecurity topics for a variety of mediums.
- Maintain the Cybersecurity SharePoint page which highlights emerging cyber threats team overviews and serves as a one-stop shop for cybersecurity resources.
- Two (2) - Ten (10) years of experience.
- High School diploma/Associates required.
- Secret Clearance required.
- DOD 8570/8140 IAT II Certification
Overview
We are seeking a Cyber Technical Writer to support our Prime Contract with the Defense Threat Reduction Agency at Fort Belvoir. This position requires an active Top-Secret Clearance and a DOD IAT level II.
