Job Description
Responsibilities
Peraton is actively recruiting for a Cyber Software Engineer for one of our contracts in Charlottesville VA. The Cyber Software Engineer will design develop and maintain secure software systems and tools that protect against cyber threats. This role blends deep software engineering capabilities with cybersecurity best practices. The ideal candicate will possess the following skills:
- Security certification(or the ability to obtain it quickly)
- Working knowledge of AWS(EC2 RDS/Postgres S3 SNS Parameter Store)
- Experience with Red Hat
- Experience with Tomcat
- Proficiency in Java
- Comfortable working with a PostgreSQL database
- Knowledge of Ansible
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Must have a minimum of a Top-Secret clearance and willing/ability to upgrade clearance to TS/SCI.
- 12 years of work experience w/o BS/BA degree 8 years of work experience w/BS/BA 6 years of work experience w/MS/MA
- 1 years of experience working with AWS
- 1 years of experience working with Java
- 1 years of experience working with Tomcat
