This role requires you to have lived in the UK for the last 5 years and obtain Security Check (SC) security clearance. Clearance must be obtained without any caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role youve been recruited for. If it isnt obtained or is obtained but with caveats that prevent you from carrying out the role any conditional offer made to you will be withdrawn. Obtaining SC security clearance can be a lengthy process and we reserve the right to withdraw any conditional offer made if the necessary security clearance isnt obtained within 12 months.
Job description
Are you passionate about developing future talent and shaping the next generation of skilled technicians We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our Learning & Development team at DE&S Deca. This role is pivotal in ensuring our Technical Apprenticeship Programme provides an engaging and supportive experience for our apprentices while delivering the essential skills required by the business.
As the Technical Training Manager you will play a key role in ensuring that all technical training whether delivered internally or externally meets defined standards. Your primary focus will be to co-ordinate the Technical Apprentice Programme which includes managing the delivery of in-house training for apprentices and revising the technical content of our apprenticeship schemes.
In addition to this you will also take on the responsibility of co-ordinating technical training solutions in collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders providing excellent service with clear and concise communication. This may involve delivering bespoke training events collaborating with local colleges promoting Defence-delivered courses or working with commercial partners to provide tailored training solutions.

Interviews will take place face-to-face at MOD Sealand and will commence in the week commencing Monday 11thAugust 2025 (please note this is subject to change).

The Ministry of Defence requires all candidates who are successful at interview to declare any outside interests.
