Job Description

Cloud Sales Role



Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets for cloud solutions and services.
  • Prospecting: Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels including cold calling networking and referrals.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospective customers to understand their business needs and identify opportunities for cloud solutions.
  • Solution Presentation: Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase cloud services and demonstrate how they address customer requirements and pain points.
  • Proposal Creation: Prepare and present tailored sales proposals including pricing deliverables and implementation plans to clients.
  • Negotiation: Lead negotiation discussions with clients addressing concerns managing expectations and closing sales.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical and pre-sales teams to ensure customer requirements are fully understood and met.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends competitor activities and new technologies in the cloud space to effectively position products and differentiate offerings.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities forecasts and pipeline management using CRM software and report on sales performance and progress to management.
  • Customer Follow-up: Provide ongoing support and maintain relationships with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience in sales incloud services.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cloud computing concepts (IaaS PaaS SaaS) and familiarity with Private Cloud and public cloud business.


Skills:

  • Proven sales track record and ability to meet or exceed targets.
  • Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
  • Certifications: Relevant cloud certifications (e.g. AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals) can be beneficial but are not always required.
