Job Description
Responsibilities
This Technical Task Order supports a suite of web-based applications that automate data management for IC data custodians. The products facilitate the capture of information and approvals that allow for the movement of data through the customer mission space in a compliant manner. These products are critical to standardize and simplify data movement as well as data reuse and integration with downstream tools. The TTO is performed out of the Peraton contractor facility and offers flexible hours and telework opportunities.
The ideal candidate will become a member of a mature software development effort using Java as the primary language. The development effort uses Agile methods to assign track and manage software activities and requirements within the team. This position will allow a software developer to develop and broaden their skills in the Java language as well as use current technologies such as Quarkus and PrimeFaces. Use of these technologies allows for full stack development to include ease of building User Interfaces.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required
- Shall have at least eight (8) years of experience in software development/engineering including requirements analysis software development installation integration evaluation enhancement maintenance testing and problem diagnosis/resolution.
- A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or in a related technical field is required.
An additional four (4) years of experience can be considered over the degree.
NOTE: A degree in Mathematics Information Systems Engineering or similar degree will be considered as a technical field. - Shall have demonstrated ability to work with OpenSource (NoSQL) products that support highly distributed massively parallel computation needs such as Hbase Accumulo Big Table et cetera.
- One Cloud Developer Certification is required:
o AWS Certified Developer-Associate
o AWS DevOps Engineer Professional
o Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)
o Elastic Certified Engineer
Desired Qualifications:
- Hadoop/Cloud Developer Certification
- Familiarity with:
- AWS Cloud technologies
- Quarkus
- PrimeFaces
- GitLab CI/CD
- Agile methods and tools
- Ability to work in a team environment; good communication and collaboration skills; self-starter
