About the role:
As the IT Service Management Lead you will:
- Develop and implement the councils IT Service Management (ITSM) strategy driving improvements across Incident Change Problem Asset Configuration and Knowledge Management.
- Lead a high-performing team dedicated to continuous improvement and exceptional service delivery.
- Manage an annual ITSM budget of approximately 500000 optimising resource allocation and cost management.
- Direct the selection and optimisation of ITSM tools and platforms aligning closely with best practices and organisational needs.
- Chair the Change Advisory Board ensuring robust governance and effective risk management for all IT changes.
About you:
You will have:
- Extensive leadership experience in IT Service Management with deep knowledge of ITIL frameworks and processes.
- Proven track record in implementing and optimising ITSM strategies and tools.
- Strong capabilities in managing complex changes budgets and governance frameworks.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and guide at a senior level.
- A passion for continuous improvement and fostering an environment of innovation and excellence.
