Role Purpose:
Our Cairns Office are seeking an experienced Family Law Legal Practitioner with a strong interest in social justice. As one of Queenslands largest legal practices we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About You:
- You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
- You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across a wide range of Family Law Domestic Violence and (after training) Child Protection advocacy.
- Ideally you will have a minimum of three years of full-time experience resilience in handling complex cases including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.
