Job Description
Setup and Location: ONSITE (Ortigas)
Work Schedule: 9:00 AM-6:00 PM (AEST QLD) 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (PH Time)
Employment Type: Full-time

The purpose of this role is to prepare cost estimates and job mark ups by analysing proposals and requirements.
What You ll Do
Core objectives include:
- Reading and interpreting house plans and geotechnical reports to design screw piles for our residential projects as efficiently and profitability as possible
- Reading and interpreting house plans and geotechnical reports to design screw piles for our distributers
- Entering jobs plans and documents into our operating system
- Assisting with the preparation of costings for our building customers
- Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals blueprints specifications and related documents
- Identifies labour material and time requirements by studying proposals blueprints specifications and related documents
- Computes costs by analysing labour material and time requirements
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analysing information
- Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information
- Prepares special reports by collecting analysing and summarizing information and trends
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications; understanding codes As2870 and As2159
- Considers pile test results and prepares test reports for customers
- Attends site when required to conduct pile testing measure and record data

Fulfill other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required
Requirements
What You Bring
We re looking for someone who:
- Bachelors degree in engineering
- Minimum of 2 years relative industry experience in construction estimating preferably in foundations piling or civil works related to residential projects.
- Ability to read and understand residential house plans
- Knowledge of AU engineering standards is highly desirable
- An understanding of residential slab and foundation design would be an advantage
