Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager 2-HDU to play an integral role in a committed multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • In order to provide high-quality treatment lead and oversee a multidisciplinary nursing team.
  • Provide clinical leadership and consultation to the high dependency units nursing staff as well as medical and allied health professionals.
  • takes the lead in organizing and carrying out clinical governance initiatives.
  • takes part in a multidisciplinary team approach while making decisions about patient care issues.
  • Sustain superior interpersonal and communication abilities as well as the use of leadership to direct the provision of services and/or proper patient/client care.
  • Create put into effect and advocate for evidence-based guidelines and policies that adhere to pertinent industry professional and legal criteria that affect patient and client care.

Requirements

  • Registered or qualified to register with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Three to five years of acute hospital experience after registration
  • Critical Care Postgraduate Diploma
  • At least two years of CNM1 management experience
  • Finished a management program or pledged to pursue an appropriate management certification after being hired
  • MSc in Leadership Management and Nursing
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Demonstrated proficiency in decision-making change and innovation resource management people management conflict resolution problem-solving organizational understanding and operational planning
  • Strong communication interpersonal and IT abilities are crucial.
  • Knowledge of both professional and personal growth
  • Understanding of risk management patient safety and quality and safety management
